Programming Mishap

Working on our robot’s automated turning feature, the programming team was having difficulties stopping the rotating robot, instead watching Victoria spin round and round as if dancing. Upon retrial, one programmer prayed “stop stop stop stop stop!”, hoping that with good karma the robot would perform the intended task. When the robot did stop, the jubilation of success was cut short when another programmer asked, “Why did you want me to stop the robot?” Another day, another reminder that communication is key to tipping the scales.
